Those few individuals that have met dust genasi before might not feel like Calensin is one of them, general appearances aside.
Calensin is unusual for a dust genasi: unlike many of his kin, he is not sickly but quite healthy and fit. While he has no issues with morbid subjects, and even has a certain interest in them, he doesn't share the obsession with things concerning death that is so common among dust genasi.

A light cloud of dust seems to always accompany him; yet it is not unpleasant to be in his presence. The dust tends to remain with him, refusing to leave his vicinity, which means that those interacting with him don't have to worry about getting all dusty or even breathing in the fine particles.
Calensin tends to be cheeky and direct, not lacking in confidence. His jokes and remarks usually are harmless, and most folks get along well with him.

His choice of attire might easily reveal what he considered his true calling: travelling around the world as a treasure hunter. Most of the time, a plethora of both useful and useless trinkets and gadgets adorns his outfits, ranging from a large mechanical arm that he sometimes wears strapped to his back to a small bleached skull hanging from his thigh at times.
