It's easy to skirt around, and more often then not the character tends to warm up to others in time. Just make me aware if you would like to definitely skirt around that - my prime interest is bringing entertaining roleplay to you - the player. )) ((The Search DC to detect her through any of her forms is 50 in the medium size category, 40 in the large and 30 in the huge.)) ----- ++==The Body==++ Tales of this raging guardian have spread far throughout the southern regions of it's homeland, and tend to follow it wherever it takes up residence. Though almost always seen in her truest form, there are occasions when she adopts one of several disguises. These occasions are rarely pleasant ones. Often cited as looking unabashedly akin to an ophidian creature (although close inspection reveals a generally draconic body shape with a rib cage, belly, thigh bone and so on) , this serpentine dragon can be most easily recognised by it's glimmering jade scales, both over its back and underbelly along with a rather long snouted head. Her features are often times seen as sternly narrow and sharp, and even those of draconic ilk would likely call her unpleasantly gaunt looking yet noticeably regal. Although it is hard to tell her gender at first glance, there is a noticeably feminine aspect to her voice and subtle ones to her facial features. There is no shortage of energy to her eyes, which appear to glimmer a luminous green in the dark, her r round pupils apparently able to emit the light magically. Her long muzzle is accented by a pair of long, flowing, whipping whiskers that probe about along her sides. At the end of her snout are twin nostrils, set at its blunt tip, her long jaws hiding rows of sharp, white, stone flecked teeth and a slick, wet serpentine tongue. Along her eye ridges are sets of fine white spines, and snagging along the jowls and extending from the base of her skull is a long, vibrant flowing mane of white hair, amongst which grow a pair of fine brown antlers, their texture more akin to fine wood than anything. Just like this mane, this hair grows alongside ivory spines across her spinal column, which is noticeably more course and prickly then the mane at her head, who's hairs are soft and luxurious. Although her body is long and slender, there isnno mistake that there is a profound amoun. Of muscle behind her frame, which easily slides and bends along the ground, with four powerful, thick limbs ending in strong, long fingered paws with immaculately kept white claws, caked with dirt and hardly if ever clean or free of rock. The long section of her tail appears to be particularly whip like, ending in a brush of spines and white hairs, oft caked with moss and tangled with pine needles. On the rare occasions she changes form, she can often be recognised by the appearance of a very tall, matronly and statuesque woman, body hidden under the odd robes of a shrine maiden, bright, verdant green and white. She herself often has white or red hair, a long and flowing cloak of white fur and a leafy glint to her otherwise dark eyes. Often times her movements have a rather unearthly feel to them, shifting with the very subtle sound of grinding earth. In her true form, this sound is very prevalent, spawned almost supernaturally. She otherwise appears in the form of an autumn haired, vengeful dryad, a towering grasping tree, an antlered bear with glimmering jade eyes, a mossy fleshed qilin or an arboreal ki-rin. No matter what form it is, each appearance has an air of divine judgement to it, as if to scare and intimidate any potential ne'er do wells. --------- |
