A bearded farmboy, with bright blue eyes and a relaxed demeanor.  About 5'9", stocky and bearish.  He moves with unusual grace and silence for someone who otherwise appears clumsy.

Closer inspection might reveal the wariness with which he watches corners, shadows, and high perches, or several scars, and the calloused hands of a soldier.
