The athletic and strong black man you see is looking at you with suspicion and keeps his distance.

His back has been lacerated from his shoulders down to his little back and despite the wounds are now closed, deep scars are still clearly visible.

For sure he has been whipped severly and many times.

A shackle is still placed around his right ankle, but seems to have been sawed partly. Probabably the black man has not finished to remove it.

The neck iron shackle seems undamaged (and a close magical examination would let you see that it has been magically sealed). A flat part, made to receive any inscription, is empty. Nothing can let guess if something was written in the past (maybe because of the magical properties of the collar).
