Ananta was born as an elf, but with only three elven grandparents in the family, and one sidhe, it was not unexpected when the first evidence of fey lineage manifested.

Already interested in magic, and preferring the possibilities of arcane magic to the druidic practices, Ananta was taught to both tame the lineage within and to ride with it when the right time came.

Ananta has one soul, but with the fey lineage comes a curious amount of possibilities. Though without druidic training the shapeshifting that Ananta can engage in is limited to mere imitations that would not be of any particular benefit in combat, it has afforded Ananta a change to explore the different forms for several years already.

Another manifestation of the Fey lineage is that some of the forms that Ananta has come to use have taken up a bit of a personality of their own. They are still Ananta, but influence the behaviour with their basic nature once Ananta shifts to become one of them.
