A man of honor
A Yojimbo from a island of noble dragon blooded men and women, he was born of two pure humans, his mother a noble man's sister after marriage and his father a rice farmer. From his birth parents he was considered a commoner to do little more than common tasks. However, due to his birth he was taught the way of the guardian Samuria and proclaimed to be a royal guard to the family, rather than a member of the true Hamarane Tokofuji Empire.
As a young man, he took up caligraphy and painting as his past time activities, learning how to draw runes and paint portaits of nobility with his brush and brilliant colors. One day while he was painting a portrait for the Emporer of the small island his brush broke in a grnadly dishonorable way, spraying paint across the portrait and besmirching his reputation were it not fixed soon. From behind him he quickly snapped a twig from a sacred tree and sliced off a portion off his hair, wrapping it around the wood to make a brush to fix the painting. Strangely enough, the paint moved to his will before the brush touched the canvas, then as he began to paint the single white stroke became a rainbow of colors that changed with the very emporer's cloths, finishing the portrait with single strokes across the canvas. From that day forward he had requested to be given pass to journy forward and create a life for himself, though his reasons were fear for the island at his strange new brush and the urge of battle that it brought to him upon completing a painting or even a single letter of caligraphic design. When leave was granted he traveled far to the lands of Thay, in which he became a low renowned painter and Yojimbo to the red wizards of enchantment before meeting a slaved paladin who appreciated his artform with the blade as much as his paintings. After several days of training the two had become great friends and the paladin gave him a gift of a white feather which he wears with three bone chopsticks in his hair's binding. The feather allowed him to hear the very mind of the paladin when he spoke without words, but not others. The chopsticks protected his mind from the man's thoughts at his own leisure, giving him a perfect feeling of comfort to the man before he dissappeared.
The man returned one day and bore two wings of white and horns of black and offered him a new life, where his art could be appreciated more and his sword art could be used for more than self defence. Warblade quickly accepted and took his hand, suddenly feeling the world around him fade away only to come back as a new place and time.
