He appears to be in his early forties.  His long dark hair is streaked with silver.  His eyes are storm grey.

A former merchant sailor with a solid build. He has a large ornate tattoo of a sea drake spiralling up the length of his left arm, all the way to his shoulder blade.  On his chest, visible through the top of his open-buttoned shirt, is a tattoo of a single playing card; the Jack of Diamonds.

He is often seen wearing a long black coat over a loose fitting cotton shirt, knee length worn leather boots and an old tricorn hat.  He also wears a leather belt from which hang a loaded musket and rapier.

He is a man of very low morals who will trade in anything provided there is a profit to be had.  He is well educated and can be charming when he wants to (not often then).

He is the Captain of the 14-gun privateer ship, The Black Star. The ship is moored off the Western Shore of the Isle of Dread in Pirates Cove.
