The first thing you would notice at glance is that the creature you've just looked at appears to be a grotesquerie shaped like a humanoid male of some sorts; The limbs, joints, even clothes, vaguely appear to be nothing out of the ordinary. The striking realization thunders in your mind as the creature's featureless face is revealed under its wide-brim hat. Its bits of fabric and leather sinew stitched together to form the distant semblance of skin break off at points, giving way for thin pieces of thatch and straw to poke out. As the scarecrow moves, you see the gleam of intelligence welled up in its eyes - its beady, fake eyes. As it's lips moves, bits of its stuffing fall seem to fall out. It makes a pitter-patter noise as it moves, and attentive observers with keen attunement to the arcane would note the faint churn of magic this creature emanates.
