Symbiote Description:
Slithering larva like creature. Entierly helpless without a host body. Moves slowly on three withered limbs, two larger on the front for climbing and for manipulating objects. Each three digits of each hand are covered with razor sharp curved talons. Vertial toothless mouth, beyond two large fangs that drip with paralyic venom. Eight dim-glowing yellow eyes, four on each side of it's small head. Black oil-like sheen skin covering rest of it.

Often found wrapped along a host's spinal cord, deadly looking talons digging into the brain itself. Operating the hosts chemical balances to parasite's own advantage. Symbiote might be noticable with the thickening of the hosts neck. Though who does look for such minor alteration on day to day bases?

General Information:
Often Vethru symbiotes enter the host organism through the mouth, though any orfice will do in a hurry. Burrowing their way fastest possible route to the spine. Clinging into the hosts brain and forever altering the creature it's inhabibiting. Vethru inject the potential host they've fond with the paralyic venom when they're caught unaware or most often asleep. Making the nesting process as easy and painless as possible for the creature. If ever removed from the host, or the host is abandoned, the host creature is rendered dead to massive interal trauma.

Often if inhabited a same host for prolonged time. The host will undergo massive mutations, metamorphosis and other experiments. All to improve the hosts combat efficiency and survival to harsh conditions. And simply sometimes for the symbiotes vanity's sake..

Elder Vethru are often driven mad by the hosts ever present hormones and the chemical toxicity that keeps building up with the small but permanent "improvments" to the creature housing the symbiote. Often dying to the toxicity from too "comvfertable" enviorments. Due to catashrophic changes to hosts DNA, the host is unable to breed through normal means, nearly always the symbiote and host is bathed in hormones and of course desires and insticts of the host.

Low powered telepathy, mostly just used for conversation is ever present. A direct link from the creature to others around. Hivemind is in effect if ever caught near a nest and the dominative will of the queen. Drones and warriors lost from the hivemind either are driven murderous rampages or unending pursuits of the pleasures of the flesh. Having never before experienced the consept of self, the rogue Vethru tend to grow rather selfish.
