BACKGROUND:

Matsu is a young orphan lady. She was abandoned by her parents when still a baby, being rescued by local Shinto Monks, and being raised by them.

She is a rather gentle and peaceful person, almost never raising her Katana against other people. However, she can be quite dangerous when enraged.

Unlike most japanese warriors, she relies more on spellcasting than in strength itself, making her a Ronin Spellblade. Because of this mix, her abilities were not compatible to a samurai fighting style, so she was rejected by the Daimyo.

Becuase of that, she set sail to the Dreaded lands, searching for enemies in order to hone her skills, so that she may return to her homeland and fight for her Daimyo.
