A horrible monstrosity from beyond the realms of sanity, Fel Taint Lashers are small predators from the Far Realm that feed on excessive emotions of mortal creatures.

Visible as a small bundle of writhing tentacles, the more a tainted lasher feeds, the stronger it becomes, eventually growing in size and ability to manipulate the mortals around it.

This particular lasher appears to be a horrendous monstrosity of mixed origins, a half-ooze, half-aberration, leaving a trail of thick viscous slime as it drags along the ground, seeking out it's new victims.

Recent New Mutations:
- The Lasher, as a result of people assaulting it with fire repeatedly, now has evolved a thicker slime around it's body. Said slime seems to repel flames. (Fire Resistance 15/-)

-The Lasher has grown larger, and been given sentience by some nefarious slum dweller in the city. It struggles with this newfound knowledge as it still attempts to feed and grow.

- The Lasher now has limited sight and hearing, though how much it understands is...debatable.

Abilities:
Tendril Caress: A fel taint lasher uses it's otherworldly presence to instill emotions in those it preys on, and feeds off those emotions it causes. A simple caress of it's tentacles can instill simple emotions in it's victim, though smaller varities of lasher are not as proficient as larger ones. Will DC: 12 (minor emotional change, might take multiple touches to instill stronger emotions)

Emotional Feeding: A fel lasher feeds on the emotional output of mortal creatures. Feeding on them in this way leaves them drained and dazed, tired as if they need a nap, and with memories of the feeding fading away into fuzziness and obscurity like a dream just after one wakes up. Will DC: 14

Simple Tentacle: The smallest of fel lashers do not possess very specialized tentacles. Small lashers have grasping, winding tentacles that end in simple, rounded points, but are very nimble and dexterous, able to fit in many small regions.

Thick Slime: This lasher is a half-ooze, and as such seems to be coated in a constant shell of sticky viscous slime that was more thick and hard to pull away from (like glue) than slippery. Touching or being touched by the monster often resulted in the person's skin or personal belongings to be coated in that goo, and it was quite hard to remove.

From the Far Realm: A fel lasher's presence on the material is only a part of it's body. If slain, a Fel Lasher eventually regenerates the piece of itself that it places out in the material realm once more, allowing it to recover so long as it can find a way from the far realm back to the material plane. Killing a lasher however can set it back if it has grown, leaving it smaller, and weaker than it was.
