Description
An itinerant flower of the floating world who settles now and again in water of Sinfar. The enigmatic being carries herself with the poise of royalty, always a scintillating array of jewels and iridescent silks.    Discerning Samyukta's actual lineage is problematic giving her passion for costume and transmutation in the sake of vanity and whimsy. At times she's a ebony dark wisp of long legged human woman, or sometimes adorned head to toes in colorful plumage of fine feather down, or astride golden hooves with a fiendish tail laden with ornaments of its own. The one 'constant,' if it can be called, in her appearance is the devotion to vibrant colors in her clothing and makeup. Deep royal purples, shimmering greens, and turquoises are her favorite, whether they be the patterns of an ornate evening gown or the diaphanous sheer silks of exotic dancer.    Her favored modes of expressing herself are with a serenely chosen mudra or careful application of the sixteen ways of smiling, though when she does speak her accent slight but distinct; symbolic of one who came to understand the Common tongue later of life but clearly through an opulent and high society context. She does not stoop to vulgarities in her speech, and very rarely can be roused to raise her voice. The coarser emotions she tries to keep from contorting too much of her face, trained to use only her eyes to express anger or ire.
