[The Background]

Once upon a time, in a land far away, there was a village like any other. Filled with life and families, hardworking folk making the best of life and every day.

Of course, this description is not about the entire village, nor all its residents. So we take our journy to the hill that overlooked the village. It is there, in that fine stone home, that the noble family that presided over these lands lived. A gentle man, his loving and much beloved wife, and their kind daughter who was beautiful beyond compare, both inside and out.

They were a happy family, devouted to eachother and the lands and the people which they tended. Until that fateful day when their family was supposed to grow by one, and instead it shrunk by two. The loving wife lost to a childbirth too strenuous and complicated to survive.

This left the man a wodower, to tend for his growing daughter alone. Anyone who has ever seen a single Disney movie knows, at this point in the tale, comes a dark hearted woman. One filled with vile resentment and jealousy. Let's call her, the step mother.

It will be no surprise to you that not long after this step other arrived in the homestead, things changed. The kind hearted man grew ill, the home grew darker and bleaker as he grew weaker. And when he passed, with it went all the joy from the home, and from the lovely daughter he left behind.

Now, all she had was the step mother, whom resented her and all she represented. Another mouth to feed was enough reason for the cold woman to take offence to the person our story now centers on. The fact that she was young, graceful, lovely.. those were fuel to the fire. And when our fair maiden caught the attentions of a well of man, whom her step mother had hopes for, her life changed forever.

A spell was cast, and the lovely maiden was no more. At least, not for anyone to behold. The wicked woman made the lass just as invisible as she felt the maiden made her. A permenant spell that could never be broken.

[What you see]

A woman, that much is clear. Draped from head to toe in garments. Sometimes dresses, sometimes pants. But always covered entirely. From her head to her feet, not a hint of skin or anything else is left to be seen. Long silken gloves often adorning her arms. A mask and veil worn over her face. Her appearance would be left an absolute mystery.

Though she seems jovial, friendly, and pleasant. She talks freely with those that would entertain conversation. She laughs easily.

I'd like to presume, unless she has specifically revealed such, it would remain unknown that she is entirely unseeable to the naked eye. Considering she keeps herself covered head to toe, it is enough to let one presume she is simply overly modest.

Also, while the curse/spell is not reversable or removable, obviously See Invisibility od True Seeing could reveal her, physically. Though.. unless she is prancing about in her birthday suit, no one ought to realize she is invisible, right? Right. Because we don't metagame folks.
