Trying to abbreviate her life to now is not an easy thing. Elves and Dark Elves, Drow, have long lives and longer pasts.

The family consisted of her mother Silonah, of whom Shirae was the eldest and only daughter. Her aunt and two cousins.

Mother and daughter shared a similar trait in not being the militants that a drow House was expected to be, and so the co-command of their military was easily seen as weak and a failure.

It was thought that House Torndartlar (Mistresses of Black Heart Mysteries) had seen its demise for this reason and was taken by Jaluk (male drow) and male mercenary surfacers alike.

Some of the household had escaped that new life of servitude or certain death, but it remained a mystery as to what had happened to the immediate family of the Mal'Cyrl.

Until recently.

While in hiding Silonah saw her younger sister and two nieces take over the House 5 in the Underdark. But nowhere did she see her daughter.

Then the unthinkable happened, someone or something, spirited the Underdark away, and her daughter Shirae was still missing.

Silonah worked fast using her magics, scrying for her daughter. Then her magic was melding with another more powerful magic, that of her daughter.

Her daughter did indeed see her mothers magics and used it to make her own magic strong and pulled herself away from being enslaved.

It was later revealed that Shirae's cousin Jivvin had hired a mercenary to enslave Shirae and when it failed he took Jivvin.

Shirae wasted no time with this newer and stronger magic when she harnessed her mothers magic to increase her own.

Shirae transported a portion of their Underdark home to the surface and in doing so also took over a portion of the estate belonging to a Designer, Gladys de'Rriyre.

Their years with Gladys were many, interrupted again by another Underdark upheavel, but they managed to find each other.

Currenly they are not with Gladys and it is unknown if Mother and Daughter are together or went their separate ways. Their lives once again a mystery.
