Description
The stag king, a dark fey lord, took three elven lovers who produced him descendants that had their elven blood overpowered by his blood. Creating a new lineage of elfish fey creatures some claim him to be the source of both satyrs and faun. They say the taint in their veins from the dark fey lord is what drives most of his spawn to gravitate towards hedonistic lifestyles.
- Volo's Guide To: Fey, Seelie & Unseelie Edition

A flighty creature who avoids others those less educated on fey (or animals) would think her a rare female satyr. Harder to get a good look at her lower half the easiest clue to what she is are the horns sprouting from her head. The shape of her lower half and hooves are deer, too, as opposed to goat. Rangers, druids and the like would have no problem seeing the comparison between the fey maiden and a white-tailed deer both in appearance and personality.
Birthed to an extended blood-line of descendants from the Stag King, she bears the upper half of a woman where at the waist her body gives way to a furred lower half. Marking this separation is a deer's tail followed by bent legs and hooved feet.

Rosy freckled skin tanned by a life spent under the sun she's colored to perfectly blend into a forest. Along her skin white splotches mar her tan, a thing that'd look like a skin condition on a mortal. It's far less out of place on her, matching the white splotches of her furred parts. She'd look the most at home (near spotless) against the backdrop of woods in the Fall. Equally curly hair and fur are colored the same, rich shade of deep brown that highlights red- a color shared by leaves wilting off trees in preparation for the Winter. In contrast, her eyes are the vibrant shade of lush green life.

The pointed, elven ears are unusually large: wide and long, they droop or perk in animal-like fashions of expression. Tufts of fur sprout along the back of her ears making the elfish structures more resemble a deer's. On her right ear the tuft of fur is purely white. This ear is, coincidentally, the one that is often perked up. The left ear is prone to drooping, able to remain perked up only when startled.. a feat that isn't difficult to achieve.

Stag horns sitting on her head are developed just enough for her to string them with colorful beads. The fuzzy antlers find themselves decorated with an assortment of things depending on the season. Feathers from different migratory birds, shells, flowers and other things found in nature hang off the strings in rotation.

A maple leaf is carved into her very skin at the center of her chest filled in to be the same color as her hair, fur and maple leaves in the Fall. Up close it looks strangely realistic, like the fey had carved a spot for the leaf into her skin then set it there.

Her manner of dress is confusing. She does not understand clothing, her kind not considering their bodies as something to hide. Learning about cultures outside of her own quickly taught her that others did. Forcing herself to don fabrics to try to avoid awkward situations with others she's always fidgeting and tugging at whatever cloth she wears. Unfortunately, she fails to realize this just creates curiosity when she's wearing things backwards, inside-out or using an article of clothing wrongly.

Even at first glance it's easy to tell that she shares the nervous nature of the animal that grants her these traits. Her eyes are constantly flickering about, trying to see everywhere and everything at once. The tail coming from the base of her spine is in a similar constant, flickering motion. She's especially nervous anywhere out in the open or when outside of forests. The poor thing acts like she could practically die of fright.
Why, then, she bothers to travel out of whatever home she comes from is a mystery. The fey gives no indication herself leaving others to assume it is the curious nature of her kind at work.

The times she tries to speak to others produce poor results. Her voice is low and soft, her nature further reducing the volume to a mumble or whisper. After spending a lifetime using such a tone it's doubtful she has the ability to raise it much passed a certain volume.
