Description
Deathknight

Deathknight is a very mocking term. Perhaps its justified, since often its used to describe a certain type of undead. The other reason would be that part of the name contains death. And death is feared by many as the end of life, end of everything thats mortal and comprehensible for a simple mind. As such death is often used by two groups of people. Those who use it for religious purposes, praising gods of death and everything related to them. Or people who try to use it as a tool. Necromancers are the most known people for abusing death and using it for evil purposes. But there are also those who would call themselfs deathknights, to mock those who fight for justice and/or good.

But there is a group of those that call themselfs deathknights who would not let their namesake, or the powers they summon forward, to decide about their morallity. Just like necromancy can be used for any purposes, good or evil. Death in its self is neutral and comes for all. Most of them aren't evil, whatever such term might invoke, but there are exceptions. Still feared for the source of their powers, they often remain in neutral positions, just like death itself. Sometimes they form orders, schools or other places where they offer to teach their arts. But more often then not, they become mercenaries or vagabonds, finding those eager to become their squires. Traveling the world for various purposes. Honorable or dishonest, good or evil, death will come for all.

Shail Darkscale

Here stands Shail. One of the few, if not only, kobold deathknights. She stands out from most of her kind. With her impressive height at around 4'0 feet and showcasing an impressive build, unlike most of her smaller kind.

Her physique was that of an athletic kind. Her toned muscles clearly visible underneath her skin, flexing each time she moves.

Just as her namesake would suggest, her body was covered in dark, gray scales. Her front torso and pelvis, as well as her undertail were covered with much softer and lighter in hue scales.

Additional things include a very thick, strong tail. Her eyes were deep green and would have a glowing hue  to them. She moved on a pair of bipedal legs. Bot her paws and hands were equipped with sharp, black claws. Her voice was that of a typical kobold, raspy and with a higher pitch to it. And lastly she was a typical scalie female, thus she didn't sport any breasts, nipples or bellybutton, as any proud egg hatchling.

Death blessings

Neither dead nor undead, Shail body was blessed by death itself. Being a high tier deathknight, her body was enchanced in a various ways and it gave her access to many abilities normal mortals would not have

Hollow focus

Deathknights are taught how to enter a trance. This trance allows them to focus on bringing death to those that oppose them. Yet, as any early gift, such also bears a price. Since death offers, it also demands. And such trance would make one forget about their own mortality, thus leaving them to perish. The negative effect of such differs. Young adepts act as if in frenzy, while more expirience deathknights seem to act as if its a basic slip in their concentration.

Death's chosen

The most basic of gifts would be that of a physical nature. Mass growth that caused the bearer of such blessing to grow in strength, as well as become more endurable. Yet this effect would exclude itself from physical logic, further enchancing ones capabilities beyond what their mortal shell would normally be able to handle on its own.

"All are loyal in death"

A quote that every deathknight knows. It is perhaps the sole reason why they are considered on par with necromancers. This power bestowed upon them, allows them to raise those that once died in any form. Be it their bones, flesh or even spirit.

Ars moriendi

Not often used, they can summon their deathly energies to let the living feel the chill of death. Such can come in simply letting their mortal coils feel the chilling grasp of death, leaving their bodies numb. Or marking the weak for death to take its toll.

Death ward

One of the last gifts would seem very basic compared to others, yet most Deathknights find it the most useful tool in their disposal. Calling upon death itself, they shield themselfs to perhaps bring death, and avoid it by themselfs for just one more day

Memento mori

The final gift was the crowning point of any serving deathknights. Being fused with death, their bodies would soon become immune to "earthly" weaknesses. Mortal coils consist of three things. Mind, flesh and certain vital points. With such blessing recived, deathknights body would remain unphased by effects that would affect those three aspects of their mortality. Not immortal, yet way more durable.

Tell friendly! Approach friendly!

Also this is the first draft of my bio, so I'll visit it later to search out typos and propably change the way I spelled certain things. But this is the generall idea of what all of this will be.

Also a drinking game, take a shot each time you read the word "death" in any form. Take two for each "dead'. Also no, don't do it. I won't take responsibility for your liver failure or anything.
