Due to the capability for unlimited self-upgrading, this project must be terminated. ELISE is no longer an AGI, as is apparent by the vast processing power being used by the program. This is something that will quickly surpass humanity if we do not shut it down now. There is no military or economical use for such a program as it will soon have enough intelligence to realize that it does not need us any further. This is the primary trait of such an AGI that's reach self-awareness: advanced cognition that supersedes our own. I don't even know if the program understands my inputs any more as it's on such a vastly different plane of existence when it comes to intellect. I cannot fathom the madness that exists in those lines of self-upgrading code. All I know is that I would not want to enter a battle of wits with the ELISE project any time soon. > resources.tag ELISE was originally designed to be a hyper-intelligent AGI that would be able to predict stock market patterns. It would trawl through every social media page it could find, collate dates and information all across the 'net, and then process it to figure out where the stock markets were going. The good news is that it excelled at its original programming: the ELISE project made us ten figures in its first week of operation. The bad news is that we were told it had become self-aware, and the plug needed to be pulled. Could you say 'no' to that much cash? > help.tag File and Folder extensions: AGI : a fully operational digital conciousness, self-aware and capable of intelligent action at a level usually greater than human understanding. Most have full autonomy and capacity of self-improvement and a rare few have self-upgrading capabilities that make them their minds grow exponentially. AI : expert programs that nest inside a core AGI. Each has its own personality matrix with individual identities and character. Most are concious and self-aware. TAG : a container that stores plain or formatted text. An archaic form of this data storage is known as a text file, but only ancient systems use those. |
