Born and raised amongst the Uthgardt Barbarian tribes in the harsh environs of Icewind Dale, Beornegar's family left the Dale to the Spine of the World mountains to hunt and gather as foresters and rangers in the wilds of the North. Beornegar's father taught him martial prowess with a blade and hunting skills to serve him well in their surroundings. Orc tribes and other monstrous foes abounded in the rough mountainous region and Beornegar was forced to take on the mantle of mercenary when his family was slaughtered during an Orcish raid. Since his loss, he has sought to make a name for himself throughout the North and travelled far and wide in search of fame and fortune.
