Vivika was a minor thief with a pittance of wealth and notability before she found herself on this Island. Now, she's cursed and desperately searching for a way back to that life.

Vivika had found the perfect score: a simple house loaded to the brim with valuable gems, baubbles, and othe trinkets. The owner was an enfeebled old man, half-blind and as crazy as the beggers in the streets. She didn't know about the owner's true identity of a master mage and his disguised lair in the squalers of her home slums.

The mage foiled her robbery easily but spared her a quick death for a more prolonged torture. The mage binded her to him as a thrall and for years she was used merely as a servant. It wasn't until she managed to touch a trinket and find herself on this very island.

The mage's curse still very much inflicts her senses and there isn't a day which goes by she doesn't try to cure herself.
