Aneb is somekind of conception error. Nor totally human, nor totally genasi. She is the daughter of a Water Genasi and a Human. Her white hairs and pale skin reminds the features of a water genes.

About her history she has been abandoned by her mother and her father, recovered by Adashir, a barbarian living at Mulhorand. Raised as a boy, Adashir gave her the name of Aneb which is a male name, though she is a female.
