Mira was always a little naive --the poor thing, not everyone could have the brains and the beauty, after all, so while it was an unfortunate hand, it was the one she'd been dealt.

All would have gone well, had she not tried so hard to help, sending matters off the right path and careening into the nearest river, but it just seemed to keep happening that way, again and again. Her help was a mishap on the best of days, and on the worst, they stopped just short of disaster.

What could be done about Mira when sending her to the mortal planes could result in an unspeakable end for anything and everything in her path?

It was decided that Mira needed wisdom, and how better to gain wisdom but through time and how better to find time but to be as far as was possible from things that might distract a young celestial trying to sort herself out?

Mira was given a one-way ticket to enlightenment in the form of a magical compass, a compass that would possess her until the moment she was set free...

...one could only hope she'd had long enough to think on her ways by the time this came to pass or heaven help those unfortunate beneficiaries of her best.
