Originally from the Cormanthor, this sun elf is the first son of the mages Kyron Durothil and Baelvon Durothil.  Thanks to one of their family friends, he's found his way for the second time to the lands of Sinfar... though the first trip was an adventure of self discovery, escorted by the dwarven mercenary Taggart MacGranite, the quest he finds himself on now is one of gathering his fortune and finding a home for himself among his cherished quessir.   Tharis is quickly becoming known just as much for his love of music and singing songs and tales of Sinfar residents of note, as he is for his archery prowess and growing hoard of priceless artifacts.   His fair, unblemished features, greenish gold eyes, bronzed skin and golden hair are characteristic for his race, but he seems to lack the racial prejudices and stuffiness ar'tel'quessir are famed for, particularly in his noble family. He can usually be found in good spirits, and is always keen on meeting new, interesting people of all types.
