Hexz'zal the Terrible
This diminuitive creature is just under 2 feet tall. Somewhat resembling an imp, though sharper and more vicious in appearance, this little humanoid is easily identifiable as a quasit. A wicked grin is usually plastered across its dire-looking features; a sharp nose, glowing gem-like green eyes, and spikey hair that has been arranged in a flame-like manner. From its forehead, two impressive and infernal-looking horns jut outwards and curve back up in the same direction as those gathered tendrils of jet-black hair.

For a demon, the quasit is certainly more handsome than most of his kind. Despite his twinkly, sinster gaze and mischievous smirk - it doesn't take much for the gesticulating creature to take on a sagely tone, quickly making it clear that it is unusually charismatic. Though obviously agile, the demon is deceptively strong - next to an imp, Hexz'zal certainly looks like a warrior of renowned might. There's a sparkle of magic in his eye, too, a quiet confidence that betrays his cowardly, mischievous exterior.

Certainly more than he seems, those of magical inclination would quickly recognise the quasit as a familiar of some kind - sustained by a readily detectable arcane bond. Where its master is, however, is a mystery.

Q is for Quasit
Quasits are chaotic evil outsiders. Standing about 1.5-2 feet in size and weighing about 8 pounds, they resemble tiny humanoids with spiky horns and bat wings. They are drawn to become the familiars of mages who match their demonic alignment.

A quasit is a tiny demon that delights in tormenting mortals with vicious – and often lethal – pranks. They delight in causing mischief and mayhem. Sometimes, a quasit will bind itself to a mortal spellcaster to act as a familiar. These demons do so as a means to corrupt the mortal wizard into using her magic as destructively as possible.
