Half-elves gain an unusual blend of abilities from their two heritages. More innately charming than humans, they tend to inherit the best traits of both bloodlines. This is not the case when it comes to Ranulf however. Yellow, almond shaped eyes and sharp, almost pointy facial features only make him look shifty and weaselly.

And although it might be said that there is something very catlike about his nature, its not the haughty feline grace often attributed to those of elven blood. Instead he is more like an old, scarred tomcat, glancing furtively around himself as he skulks around the city, trying to avoid trouble.
