Description
You see a beautiful young maiden in her early 20's, around 5' 9". As she walks by you can't help but notice her dark locks with blue shimmers running down her hair, and beautiful eyes which resonate in a deep violet hue. You also see along the back side of her neck a tattoo, which says "Tica my love", several old scars across her arms, and an outline of a crystal on her chest below her neck, which occasionally appears to glow.

Through further examination you notice that she appears to carry a blade at her back, along with a smaller one by her side. You can tell that she is new to this plane, but the women still seems very confident in her movements, actions and mannerisms. But there is a look of loss on her face. The look of someone who is missing a reason. Even though she appears to have a fire in her eyes; of someone who is trying to reach a goal. Through this you come to the realization that she is a warrior one that is highly skilled in her weapons of choice, and by deduction you believe she is from the land of Faerûn. Although you can only imagine what history this women has.

History and Background
Thera had a happy life as a child, raised on a farm with her parents. Her father a retired warrior who worked in the city of Neverwinter as one of lady Airbeths trusted guards and her mother an ex Cleric and healer. Both worked at Neverwinter during the Wailing Death.  As Thera aged she developed a passion and skill for swordplay. Through hearing numerous stories of great warriors and heroes of Faerûn from her parents. One day she fell ill with a horrible incurable disease, her mother took her to a sage who informed them that the only way to save Thera would be to take her to the Spine of the World, and to venture to the top of a mountain where an ancient group of monks could possibly help. Her father being a great warrior took the task of taking his daughter the destination for a chance of saving her.

Her father picked Thera up wrapping the young 10 year old in a blanket and off they set. Several weeks had passed by the time they reached the base of the mountain. Thera nearing death as the disease took its toll upon her body, her father falling weak from the intense trek. As he pushes onwards almost reaching the monastery atop the mountain, a powerful Wyvern suddenly appears, ripping his arm of in a single blow. Thera falls to floor beneath the wyvern. Just before the Wyvern is about to end Thera's life her father uses his last remaining strength, picking up a blade with his other hand and stabs the wyvern in the heart; killing it. As Thera's father begins to fade bleeding to death, a group of monks walk down the path to check what happened.

The monks carried Thera and her father up to the monastery, in his dying breaths he asked the monks to save Thera. The monk replied saying "This can be done, but on her 25th year she must return to the monastery and spend her life here, to keep her alive." Her father said "Thank you, do whatever it takes", in his last breath he gave Thera one request…. "Live my Daughter, live your life to its fullest." The Monks proceeded, they took a shard from a large crystal and inserted it into Thera's chest; protecting Thera against the disease and giving her the energy to live. A monk then returned young Thera back home and informed her mother about what happened. Thera began to grow well again, as the years passed she resumed her training and dedicated her life to becoming a great warrior like her father.

One day; years later a monk returned to Thera and informed her that the crystal which was supposed recharge her shard was destroyed, and that she would die on her 25th year. Thera remembered the one request her father had given her, and decided she would not allow her father death to go in vein. She began exploring the world learning what she can in an effort to complete her father's wish. This led her toward a portal to another world, "if the answer cannot be found on Faerûn"……. And she stepped into the portal...
