Description
A wild forest goblin appears! Wait, whats a forest goblin you ask? let us check our Goblindex for answers!

Forest goblins, as the name suggest, are of the goblin family, but to think that they are simple goblins that live in a forest, and the name came from that fact, would be wrong. Actually they do live in forests, but thats not important! What is, however, is the fact that Forest goblins are descended of fey. This doesn't mean they are some rare occurance that is made whenever a fey and a goblin spawns an offspring. Forest goblins are their own race, and the source of their feyness (is that how you say it?) reaches far back in history to times, where even the oldest of Forest goblin historians have forgotten. Actually there are no Forest goblin historians, but eitherway none of them remembers anyway, so in case some of them becomes a historian, he propably wouldn't know either.

As stated before, indeed, Forest goblins are their own race, but even so, they are rare to observe. Mostly because some mistakes them for dryads or other fey creatures, and some just for plain goblins. Another factor is that, unlike other goblinoids that prefer to live in tribes, forest goblins are loners. This makes creating an offspring a difficult process, as well as makes survival slightly more challenging.

But in the nature, its survival of the finest, right? As such, forest goblins are far more capable of surviving on their own.
Everyone of them at least knows how to use a bow on an avarage level. Some prefer to use more direct combat, some might know divine, nature based magic. But all of them know how to use a bow.

Most of them are trappers and hunters, they actually find great enjoyment in hunting, but not simple hunting. They seek creative ways to capture animals alive, only to release them. They kill only when they hunt for food. Of course this little competition of theirs annoys bigger creatures, like wolfs or bears. Or gods forbid, dire version of those creatures. Alas for some strange reason, they usually survive the encounter, althought more often then not, their desire to ride a wolf, would end up backfiring at the poor critters, as long as there's another day, nothing goes to waste, its just another lesson learned.

Forest goblins are omnivorous, that means they eat meat they can hunt or fish, but also forage the forest for fruits, roots and herbs to eat. In crisis times, they won't mind eating bugs, but that of course if no other source of food is available.

The mating process, at least betwen two forest goblins, isn't really that difficult convoluded. When two of them manage to meet, and either of them finds the desire to mate, the one with said desire has to present some kind of trophy to the other one. That being usually some hair of a beast they attempted to capture. Because tucking out a handful of fur isn't that difficult, more often then not, the entire capturing process doesn't have to end in a succes, but as long as she or he survives, they present it, and thus the more juicy part begins. They don't spend much time togethr, althought male for the next 10 years lives on the same territory, and makes sure to provide both of the female and the child with food and even protection if required.

Forest goblins aren't evil, more often then not on the good/evil alignment they end up neutral. Being part fey, of course, means they lean towards chaos, then any lawful behaviour. Of course to each their own, and some of them are mean spirited, some quite the opposite. But they always end up being frisky, playful and mischievous. They like their freedom that they have by living within forests by themselfs. Hence they dislike any kind of settlements or even living with other creatures, as it would provide the need to make some agreements thus removing that tiny bit of freedom they have. As such, they also don't really own much, as owning things makes you attached to it, be it some small trinket, or place you can call "home". They carry things they can easily make in case they get lost or destroyed. Self made bows or stone and/or bone weapons, rarely would they bother with clothes either, both for the fact that obtaining materials would be quite difficult within a forest, but also for the sake of their proclaimed freedom.

One important thing every forest goblin has, that for some reason has a property of a soulbind item, is their small pouch that can carry a ridiculous amounts of things and items if neccesary. There is a theory that whoever first used the term "Treasure goblin" had to have seen a forest goblin packing things into his very small pouch, before darting off and disappearing within the forest. Those pouches have magical properties, that are lost whenever the owner dies, and to make things slightly less convoluded, they basicly function like a bag of holding.

Now, of course, it happens. And it happens more often then one thinks, considering all the freedom things that were written above this. But forest goblins do enter cities, and that usually means some changes within those societies. First of, most household pets and animals either disappear or get incredibly annoyed ... or stressed. Thats due to the forest goblins desire to hunt ... and sometimes eat. Second of all, as most small creatures, they enjoy taking things that aren't theirs. They don't really keep them, they just take things that they find interesting and/or amusing, they keep it for the time their interest is being fueled ... and then just discard it. Time for a forest goblin to loose interest varies betwen few minutes, to few weeks. That means lotsof objects gets magicaly moved around, or disappear only to be found later in some weird spot.

They aren't really stupid, and are aware of the fact that cities or smaller settlements have rules. Of course they aren't lawyers, but they are aware of the basic rules. And their fey nature coming into play, they like to oppose those rules. They carry in their ways of the forest into those places, prancing around naked, and being aware the shock value it might create. Of course they aren't doing it for sexual reasons, but more to annoy and shock, which always amuses them.

Lastly, some physical description. Earlier it was said, that they are taken for either a goblin or some fey forest creatures, like dryads. That would basicly sum up their appearance. They are green, of course, and the shade might differ depending on the place of birth, or rather the forest they were born in. But its not just the skin, as their eyes and hair is also green (Im green rabudibaduday YOU'RE WELCOME FOR GETTING THE SONG STUCK IN YOUR HEAD). And speaking of hair, they highly resemble long leafs, which adds in as more often then not, their hair is also full of real leafs, so better look out what you trying to pull there. Their height differs betwen 3'0 up to 4'0 feet tall, at avarage though they are around 3'5. Also they are small, so not really heavy. I mean just pick one up, just don't let them bite you, or scratch you if you try.

OOC information

I like to erp, but approaching me icly and thinking i'll hop onto your boat just like that, is wrong. Contrary to popular belief, her being naked is not her being horny and looking for sex.

That being said, I don't mind setting up fun scenes, so poke me in tells if you have an idea!
