Naturally Nilegi are able to control their scents, pheromones, and are able to scent & copy most smells as their own.

Nilegi skin is actually poisoness, if someone is stupid enough to lick or bite them, it would cause  strong hallucinations that can range from pleasant to incredibly violent.
