Known as "Ez" by his friends, he's typically the kind of guy to stay off to the side if things get loud or messy. He's smart, wry, and has the athleticism of a swimmer, having spent many summers with his relatives at their beach house.

Despite his intelligence he doesn't have a lot of plans for his future at this point, mostly drifting along and hanging out with his friends as he always has, keeping the same circle of acquaintances since youth. Some would say they drag him down, others that he lifts them up and keeps them from being worse than just shiftless layabouts.  

He wears glasses and always carries a backpack that he's very protective over, usually not removing it from his shoulder even if standing around for long periods of time. What he keeps in there is anyone's guess.
