Eyes that were the black-flecked deep brown of pecan shells dominated the youth's narrow face, often concealed beneath a wave of auburn curls that swept downward from above; A nose, thin and aquiline, leant him a certain classical beauty, completed by flawless skin unmarked by the bite of blade or disfiguring reminder of past illnesses.

Slightly shorter than a war-spear, yet with the broad shoulders and strong limbs expected of a warrior, he carried the heavy steel armour he was entombed within with ease; That same gilded carapace as unmarked as it's wearer, and the dark blue of the robe worn beneath as unfaded and rich as the day in which it was fashioned.
