From the aristocratic family of Brimsbey, Cornelius was raised to be a member of high society. When his father died, leaving him in possession of his estate, Cornelius threw out his mother and began to expand the family name. He became a well known, if not hated Magistrate and Merchant, though some of the court believe this was accomplished through dark arts, as many of Brimsbey servants have not been seen in years, but a smell of rotting flesh hangs around the manor.
