Background
==============

Quendar was born in the land of , to a pair of Drow rebels and devout followers of the deity Eilistraee. He spend his childhood training as the defender of the Church of Eilistraee, growing up as a rebel and revolutionary. His parents, influenced by the planeswalking philosopher and mage Garlo Marxum, influenced Quendar's worldview. He was exposed to Marxum's thoughts ever since the drow was a young child, forming up a unique mixture of Eilistraee's open, harmonious, and tolerant view with Marxum's Republicanism, ideological militancy, anti-feudalist, and radical egalitarian view, which deemed for a world free of social caste and oppression through the formation of a democratic Republic realized by the use of a political revolution.

His ideological conviction and political radicalism soon gained him followers amongst the Church's followers. However, it also put him in conflict with the Church's clerics and priestess as well as majority of its followers who reject Quendar's synthesis of revolutionary Republicanism and Eilistraee's teachings as well as his aggressive political methodology, deemed it a violent offshoot of the teachings. Even to the Darksong Knights, who actively fought the spawns of Lolth, Quendar gained quite a notoriety for his call for revolution. It can be argued that Quendar himself may or may haven't lost the blessings of Eilistraee due to him being far more violent and aggressive, seemingly straying away from Eilistraee's visions of harmony and peace.

Disappointed by the Church's position to not support Quendar and his followers' political thoughts, the group broke away from the Church, forming a clandestine revolutionary group called the Republican Liberation Army. The RLA espouses a mix of Eilistraee's teachings and the thoughts of Garlo Marxum, essentially calling it Eilistraee-Marxum Thoughts. Quendar himself was named the commander of the Army, being the theorist of the EMT ideology himself. The Army used brutal and violent methods throughout its existence, specialized in the use of non-magical explosives, smokepowder weapons, and political assassination against Underdark's matriarchal houses as well as the surface's landlords.

Their unorthodoxy in combat and political agitation soon gained Quendar and his followers notoriety for a brief amount of time. Due to their actions, the RLA itself gained some followings amongst the slaves and peasants, often organizing small to medium scale armed actions. The guerrilla army, however, soon fell into a weakaned state after they lost their fight against the Underdark's Houses.      

Quendar, with the remnants of the RLA's 1st Brigade was captured and put in the prison, waiting for death sentence. The man, however, was saved when one of the last cells of the RLA decided to storm the prison as a final showdown, succeeding in freeing the man and a few of his comrades, despite marking the absolute end of the organization's military capability. The assault on the prison, however, earned Quendar the nickname of 'L'Lsyt' which means 'slick' in Undercommon, referring to his slick cheatings of death despite of his and the Army's spectacular guerrilla action before its downfall.

Quendar and the Army briefly changed its name into Democratic Guild, a political organization aiming to establish a democratic republic in both the surface and the Underdark. However, Quendar soon found the Guild to be far too moderate and 'changing the core of Marxum's revolutionary thoughts', deeming them revisionist. He then left the Guild, being essentially out of the Guild's legitimate face which offered protection.

Being essentially a wanted criminal, Quendar made his way to the Sigil, living there for a few months. He, however soon came into confrontation with Church of Lolth's assassins, prompting him to make a run to Sinfar, to avoid even more assassination attempts.

Radical with a strong worldview, Quendar 'L'Lsyt' Alode'les also known as Alondar, is a stereotypical firebrand revolutionary. His temper is explosive, his words are often fiery, and he's particularly aggressive and violent at times. However, he is by nature is a good-natured man, with a strong conviction and belief. The Drow, just like other followers of Eilistraee, is an ardent egalitarian, often showing compassion and interest to people of all races.
