Description
'There are those in this world who are born to greatness, there are those brave few who earn it - and last, but not least, there are those who stumble blindly upon it.'

Scions of innately magical bloodlines, the chosen of deities, the spawn of monsters, pawns of fate and destiny or simply flukes of fickle magic, sorcerors look within themselves for arcane prowess and draw forth might few mortals can imagine. Emboldened by lives ever threatening to be consumed by their innate powers, these magic-thouched souls endlessly indulge in and refine their mysterious abilities, gradually learning how to harness their birthright and coax forth ever greater arcane feats. Just as varied as these innately powerful spellcasters' abilities and inspirations are the ways they choose to utilise their gifts. While some seek to control their abilities through meditation and discipline, becoming masters of their fantastic birthright, others give into their magic, letting it rule their lives often with explosive results.
Regardless sorcerers live and breath that which other spellcasters devote their lives to mastering, and for them magic is more than a boon or a field of study; it is life itself.

[Flavour Text]: 'Born to the misbegotten house of Ratheborne, under their exile in Calimshan from Cormyr, Selphine was as tainted as the rest of her siblings by their grandfather's blood. Her mother's insatiable appetite for pleasures of the flesh ensured the children of several unions - her long suffering husband held in rapture by her passion, and attempt to control her fiendish lusts for violence seemed to put up with her other vices - turning a blind eye to those few children reared in his home, that bore no true resembelance to himself.
Suffice to say Selphine was one of four daughters he knew was his own and unlike the rest of the tieflings he sired, she was not so apparently tainted as the others, she could move through the crowds in the streets without yells of hatred and prejudice. For her he hoped atleast a normal life. She was an attractive thing, with rich brown hair and her mother's innately comely charm, eyes of a vivid green, and she seemed adept at hiding the origin of her rather more pointed canines with humour and a wry smile. Fond of wearing silks and linens, and adorning herself in jewellry Selphine was to the eye a rather delightful, attractive young woman. There was an odd aura about her at times, but mellowed by her savvy nature and bright smile.
Though, just perhaps in those brief flashes of anger she bore, when affronted or challenged there was something that flared he couldn't quite understand....

Until the fire. '

Though this is as much those bards of Calimport can tell you, of the good Lady Selphine. Rumour and heresay are abound in the nature of her disappearence. if you want to know more? The rest as they say, is up to you~
