Once ruggedly handsome, this man has seen better days.  Brown hair is graying at the temples.  A sallow face, with the beginnings of dark circles beneath his bloodshot blue eyes, is becoming creased with wrinkles.  A raspy voice suggests he has spent too many nights plying himself with alcohol and cigarettes.  His attire, once stylish, is outdated and in need of some repair - a missing button here, an old stain there.  He appears to be in his early 40s, when in fact he might be ten years younger.
