IC Appearance:
In front of you is an alluring redhead. Her blood red eyes are as seductive as they are piercing. Around her neck you notice a talisman that depicts a white, jawless skull upon a purple sunburst. She is always dressed in dark red.

Beneath the gaps in her heavy armor you can make out a feminine but perfectly built and toned body. Clearly, her strength and constitution are unparalleled. Her skin is silky smooth and pale as the moonlight.

Her every step is heavy and labored, as if she painfully clings onto life. Her posture and the fiery glint in the her eyes, however, betray her determination and the will to scratch and claw her way to her goals.

You sense an eerie aura pouring out from her. It feels evil and all-encompasing, choking the air around her.

OOC Character Bio:
Lauren was the daughter of a farmer living in the outskirts of Amn. At age 16 she was summoned to the temple of Tyr by her twin sister, Elisa, who had been training as a priest.

Upon arrival at the temple, she learned that followers of Cyric that had taken over the temple of Tyr in an attempt to make Cyric the only worshipped Deity in Amn. Her sister, now a High Priestess to the Black Sun, sought to make a Templar out of Lauren.

Lauren, striken by grief at her sister's betrayal, resisted honorably and for a time it seemed the Cyricists would have to give up on her and kill her. After many months of constant and unrelentling torture, her spirit broke, and Lauren swore an oath to worship Cyric, the Mad.

But that was not enough for her sister. She ordered her templars to continue the ordeal. Every day, Lauren was tortured and humiliated to the brink of death, only to have her sister heal her wounds so as to begin anew the next morning.

After many weeks, her mind was completely broken. Her old self had disappeared into madness and only an empty shell remained. Only then, did the barrage of torment end, and Lauren started her training as a Templar.

As a result of all this, Lauren possesses the body of a god, able to withstand all kinds of punishment, at the cost of her sanity. Her zeal and chaotic nature make her the perfect candidate for one of Cyric's apostles.

However, the new Lauren, due to her fragmented mind, is a glutton for punishment and is very prone to manipulation, especially from evil characters.
