Beatrix Bloodthorn was born in Ustalav, however she was eventually brought to Cheliax with her family. Her parents in an effort to rise through the ranks of nobility her family became devout devil worshippers. They also sent Beatrix to become a Hellknight of the Order of the Scourge. She became well known as a bounty hunter even gaining the respect of the Erinyes companions she often worked with, though they always felt she was far too "soft" towards those she hunted. She was fair but followed the laws of the lands she walked, even those she did not agree with, but sometimes Beatrix was forced by her devotion to Law to do things she was not proud of. There's blood on this knights hands, and some of it is innocent blood. Eventually her travels lead her to a particularly crafty Sorceress who sent her through a portal to Sinfar. However in the process sending the Sorceress through as well. Now Beatrix is hunting the woman. With the hellbent drive of a Hellknight though she feels the armor no longer fits her anymore.

Perhaps it is time for this rose to put down roots.
