 Born unto a wolf pack somewhere in this world, Kaden knows only that he is the younger of twin boys. His Mother sent him through a portal to be raised in another world upon his weaning. His Foster Parents in the Great Wood (The High Forest of Faerun) never spoke of where he came from or gave him any clues as to his true lineage. It was always, "One day you will be called back and all will be revealed to you, then".

 For years, Kaden ran alongside his Foster Parents, learning to hunt and track as both wolf and man and thought little of his true parents. Days to to weeks, weeks into months, months into seasons and seasons into years and the curiousity of his past slowly turned to resentment.

 As the years began to pass, he all but forgot of his true family. Then it happened. The door that was always locked and warded in the back of his home was open. Within its oaken frame was darkness, with a faint flickering like a torch or flame far off in a misty distance. Stepping into the darkness, he ... .

 When he awoke, he found himself near a quiet falls in a misty wood just outside of Sinifer. Sniffing the air, he knew he was somewhere else. Somewhere both foreign and yet familiar all the same. And so his current tale begins.
