Bern was not a nice man. He was a dour, scowling thing. For all the bile the world filled him with, he was happy to spill it out to others.

By the time he was twenty, Bern had started balding. By the time he was thirty, he was overweight and beset by chronic rashes. Bern would have probably died before he was forty if it weren't for one thing. One little thing kept Bern grudgingly going on. Bern had a kid, and he was damn proud of her.

Now middle aged, Bern still doesn't have much going for him in the departments of looks or personality. His hairline has been all but abandoned, and what remains is gray and stringy. Bern sports a beard to to balance out what has been lost, but it makes him look base and thuggish. His body is thickly built and average in height. A few teeth might be missing, but it looks like Bern at least manages basic hygiene.

If one were to ask Bern about his colorful past, they would find him unfortunately mute. His tongue has been cut out, leaving him only able to communicate through gestures and grunts.
