Once ago this woman had a family. A husband, children...Blacksteel did it's work on her destiny, soon enough her husband fell prey to some unknown illness and the woman had to take care of her two sons. Things went wrong, her first son turned into some sort of street urchin, and she had to leave the second one in charge of some friends.

Then, she was gone. No one missed her aside of her children, rumours of a widow chanting during the nights populated the Rookery for a few months, crows coming to see a black dressed woman who took care of them. Thus the legend of the Widow started.

Rumours say that she is a promiscuous woman now, selling not her body but the life that grows inside her to witches or perhaps even worse creatures.

With calm expressions, kind features, and an aging body, one has reasons to not pay attention to those rumours, but every now and then she seems to whisper to some crow, or stalk in the streets.

Katherine might give an evil twist to anything, but the streets are dangerous, and the course of events might turn against her as well.
