before you is a hulking mass of muscle and scale, that you might easily mistake for an enormous crocodile or gator if it were not walking around on two legs and wearing some clothing.  He might on occasion be mistaken for a lizard man or perhaps a half dragon, but those with some knowledge would see that this gator man is some foul fusion of a human and feral croc.

Truth be told he was the result of a twisted sorcerors meddling with alchemy and dark magics. Bred to sow terror amongst the nearby towns of his swampy homeland in order to keep them from hunting out the sorceror and killing him.

He would often be instructed to eat or kill the men, and take the girls and women captive to be exchanged later for supplies.  The sorceror didnt worry much about how Krod handled his captives, until Krod came of age and began taking out his urges on the captive girls and young women while they were under his watch,

The sorcerors attentions were more to the unexpected gator man hybrid offspring that resulted, rather than Krod's actions.  While less intelligent than Krod, they were no less useful.  Soon Krod's main role was to hunt down, capture, and breed with the young women and girls of the villages, while his feral offspring sowed terror.

This expansion eventually drew more attention from the outside and resulted in a crusade that ended much of the gator men, and the sorceror.  Krod and his surviving progeny dissapeared into the murky water in the aftermath, and were never found.

Description:

He has a feral cunning in his eyes along with an intelligence that defies his outward appearance.

His body is covered in dark green scales that provide some protection, and are oddly warm to the touch, due to his human heritage.

His face is hard to read and has few of the typical methods of expression that other races have, although he is capable of speaking languages in a deep faintly raspy voice.
