Originally from a small city, Erik initially learned metalwork and creating armour. As his native lands were overwhelmed by war, he decided to leave.

Since then buying a house in the city, he's lived a life of relative leisure, focussing on what he enjoys.

The change in status reflected on his mannerism as well, becoming more eloquent than his background would suggest, while not quite able to pass himself off as nobility.
