Samson

Portrait
Description
Samson was a scuffy looking old towner, with messy hair held up by an old headband and very common looking brown eyes that didn't do much to impress. He was usually seen wearing a ratty old gambesson over real armor. The garment had long worn past usefulness and now it served as an exterior to whatever he usually had on, like some sort of badge of honor. A very standard street soldier out of Old Town.

He was riddled with peircings, metal all over his face in the form of four metal studs over his right eyebrow, four more under his left eye, a nose ring, a nose stud, an ear ring, and an ear ring-nose ring contraption connected by a thin chain. He seemingly had the sense to remove that last piercing when he thought at fight was coming so as not to have it ripped out by an inopportune swing of a weapon pulling back.

When the armor came off, he was riddled with old tattoos and scars, the tales of years of fighting and life in the gangs of Old Town told in the patch work of his body. On his right arm there appeared to be the names or symbols of the different gangs he had been in, many of those names now crossed out by a jagged looking cut and scarred over, obscuring them to some extend. The tattoos ran all along his arm, and eventually on the back of his hand a the new addition of a black rose could be found.

On his chest was the most obvious of his tatoos, the words "BORN TO DIE" etched in big, bold letters for all to see. Below it was the image of a golden sword, the weapon running down the length of his chest as it pierced its way through the broken remains of seven names on his chest. In order, the names were "Winston, Phillip, Smith, Agley, Daniel, Mug, and Mally". There appread to be room for more names left in the sword, their meaning a mystery to all but him.

His back was adorned with a similar sword, but that weapon had yet to meet any names, likely given room for more if they arrived in the future. More recently there seemed to be an awful collection of scars, obvious whipping wounds from the look of them. They were healed well, but the scars would remain forever, and they serve as a stark reminder of his mistake.
