The creature before you is one of majestic beauty; mesmerizing flames dance among feathered wings as a sinewy body winds its way skyward.  Hues of crimson, purple, fuchsia, and orange shiver against tail feathers as she spirals in place.  A thin, sharp beak clicks in turn while sharper talons rake at the air.  At least ... That is how she would appear in her native form.

Someone or something has caused this bird of legend to land upright as a humanoid figure. Vibrant tresses brush over her shoulders and down her back in mockery of a fire's kiss.  Hints of crimson and fuchsia slither over smooth, charcoal kissed flesh.  Alert fire-light eyes drink in the world about her with an unquenchable curiosity.  

Standing back, watching and observing she may appear aloof.  In truth, it is more likely she is scared or shy.  Anyone daring to come near this being would notice a comforting increase in temperature as heat shimmers around her like a mirage.
