I've been it's ruler for about 3,000 years at this point and i intend of staying as its ruler for many more milliena to come! I do not live in this big dark castle on my own though....oh no no dear.....i keep plenty of pets, slaves/ servants and guardians to keep me company. Whom all adore and worship me like a godess and in return, i take care of them, play with them.....and feed on them. They arent my only means of protection though, i also posses *summons a dark purple force around her hand* a trick or two up my sleeve.....to put it lightly. Supriced? Well you certainly dont live this long without learning a thing or two, sometimes by accident and sometimes by need.... *smirks* but nevertheless...i am NOT helpless without my pets, though i do perfer to let my many servants protect me. Simply because i wont waste my time or energy at low lifes. And decpite the rumors of us vampiers dieing by blood loss not being entierly true, it is not all incorrect either. You see....we (or atleast my kind of vampires) fall into a death alike sleep but not a permanent one. We can simply be revived agian after a full moon or so has passed by being feed fresh virgin blood. However the amount required for sucha revival is.....quite alot. About 3 or so full bodies of blood is needed to revive a vampire from its deathly slumber. The only true way of killing a vampire is by the CURSED sun and its blasted "rays of sunshine". Although decpite many rumors and ridiculous motion picture lore, it is NOT instant!! It dose goes somewhat fast yes but it still takes a good 10-15 minutes or so before the vampire is actully turned into ash. Some vampiers can be a bit more resistant to it, thanks to various spells, potions and anicent artifacts. But such things are rare and more than often experimental at the best, in other words, only lasting for short periods of time, or worse....comes with a price. A more "permament" solution is to expose one self to the sun, only slighty and endure immense amount of pain to develope an immunity. I've tried this when i was young and it is simply not worth the cost. It takes litterly ages and it can easily be reversed if one dosent expose oneself to the sun frequently. In other words, it didnt take long before i gave up on that idea. Besides i enjoy the gentel moon and its pale beautiful light so much better than that pesky bitch of a sun anyway! And before you ask, yes i can turn into a bat, whenever i desire or need to. But not all vampiers can do this right away! One needs to have plenty of paitence, focus and determination. Although some vampires cannot achieve this form at all! Most of time due to being a sub speices or a muted kind. I have however in my lifetime encounterd a few younglings whom achived this very early in their lives, due to being pure-bloods, like me. It only took me 50 years (5 in human terms) to achieve and master this form. Meaning i have used and grown very fond of this form of mine, aswell as for the creatures whom roam the skies in this form only. I have infact adopted many of them as my pets and made the many towers of my castle into sanctuaries for them. Lastly, I am a rather calm and collected woman of my kin, but that dosent mean i cant easily loose my temper if provoked or threathed. So choose your words wisely and mind your actions against me!
