Clearly not a native to these parts, the man speaks in an accent combining the harsher, definitive edge of northern folk with the softer, lilting tones of the bountiful south, along with sprinklings of far less distinguishable influences which leave his exact origins a complete mystery. Nevertheless, the warm, pleasant tones of his voice naturally favor the more artful influences of his inflection, and the man is swift to offer a friendly smile during casual converse to heighten his inviting presence.

Typically clad in exotic attire combining fine silks with sturdy leathers, furs and even the odd bit of precious metals, bejeweled or scaled adornments in a cacophonous mix that somehow manages to meld into a stable, if eccentric union which only heightens the foreign intrigue of the man's presence, he seems unashamed, even comfortable wearing the mantle of "outsider" - a stranger in a strange land. Indeed, judging by the way in which his gaze constantly drinks in the sights around him and study in open curiosity those who occupy him in conversation, one might assume the man revels in the unfamiliar.

Further complicating the deciphering of the man is the fact that whilst clearly a traveler of faraway places, he hardly seems very physically imposing. Not one for a burly upper body, but merely a pleasantly smooth, lean figure, the man hardly appears to bear much in ways of weaponry either. The sparse assortment of pouches dotting his belt could hardly hope to contain sufficient supplies for extended travels, and protection from the harsh elements seems a secondary concern at best in his curious choice of accoutrements. Perhaps, then, he has other means by which to traverse the world in relative comfort, yet there's little to indicate nobility in his mannerism or the availability of servants and a cushioned carriage at his beck and call, save for his suspiciously unmarred appearance, perhaps.

Perhaps then what the natural senses could not illuminate, the mystical might. Those sensitive to the ebb and flow of the Weave may quickly come to suspect there is more to this man than a mere aesthetic oddity, waiting to be unveiled whilst under the influence of magical detection. Even lacking such means one might, upon close inspection, note minor discrepancies, nagging in the back of the mind just out of conscious reach.

Perhaps it was how the man's wild mane of hair sometimes seemed to sway ever so subtly of its own accord, borne upon a non-existent wind, or perhaps it was the simple contradiction of an evidently worldly traveler having suffered none of the telltale marks of a life on the road, or a strange, momentary flicker of enigmatic intensity in the vibrant depths of his eyes suggesting secrets held within far beyond the mundane... whatever the case, such riddles are rarely solved through passive reflection alone...

Generally I avoid adhering to strict lights as I'd rather not limit RP potential. I prefer to remain as true to the character as possible without OOC considerations. Personally I enjoy all manner of interactions, from the mundane to the macabre, from casual and lighthearted to the horrifically grim and "eccentric".
I am not my character, and his preferences inevitably vary from my own. Consider the below reds and greens more guidelines to give some idea of what sort of interactions may be encouraged rather than definitive rules that must be followed, as if the RP leads to it, I'll gladly play out any scenario that makes IC sense.
