Tall and slender though well-muscled, with long dark hair, this graceful warrior bears the noticeable features of the inhabitants of the land of Senkawa, one of the successor kingdoms of the fallen Emerald Empire. He tends to dress in such a manner as well, perhaps not bothering to adapt to local fashions, or maybe even simply more comfortable in the flowing silks of his home country. His eyes seem to hold a certain keen intelligence, or at least give the appearance of such, calmly taking in the world around him.

At his side rest a pair of gently curved swords of the sort associated with the lands of the old Empire and its successor kingdoms.

In Senkawan style, Yamada is the family name, and Kotaro is his given name, and would be stated as Yamada Kotaro.
