She was born to an accounts keeper and a scribe/research assistant who worked for a noble family, Talia was raised highly educated but without the trappings of nobility or the privilege that comes with such status.

She moves with a natural grace, yet there is something slightly awkward about her. Often fumbles things she holds as she tries to carry too much rather than dare leave a book or scroll behind. Constantly readjusting her glasses, or pushing them back up her nose giving the impression of someone constantly adjusting herself and her manner, almost an anxious sort of energy.

Her clothing is usually practical cloth though the designs often borderline noble, but almost always slightly prudish, with long skirts and often an under shift that hides any cleavage her dress might offer otherwise.

Her voice is always soft and genteel, the rare times it raises she seems startled by it and her manner. It is as though she tries to always remain proper, but as a result avoids anything that will draw attention to her, or her situation.
