Li Fan Zhu

Description
The slender woman was a clear child of the former Emerald Empire, midnight-black hair framing delicate Shu features. Her eyes were slanted, but more rounded than one might regularly see among the Shu, almond in shape. Their exotic cast and jade-green hue, another relative rarity among her people, only made the girl's features that much more interesting. Her lips were thin but naturally curved, pleasant and pale pink. Li Fan's brows were the same dark color as her hair, thin as they followed the arches of her eyes. On an otherwise stoic, elegant set of features, they were among the only ones that were allowed some freedom of expression, though even those fine brows were reigned in.

A light feathering of freckles dotted her cheeks and nose, the latter a fairly cute affair that belied the otherwise more serious details of her face. One could certainly call the girl extremely compelling to stare at, but some of the comeliness was marred by a scar along her right cheek, from near the corner of her full lips up to her high cheekbone. It wasn't so old a mark, once deep but too clean and consistent to have been made in a fight. Her hair tended to cover it, though she went to no further effort to hide the blemish.

Though sometimes Li Fan went to efforts to have them hidden, her ears bore a telltale elven shape, rounded arches turning to sharpened tips. She was half-blooded, perhaps, explaining some of her lithe figure and facial features. Even with this "tainting" of her blood, Li Fan held herself with all the haughtiness and purpose of old-world nobility, her style of dress and mannerisms reinforcing that she had been born into a finer life of plenty.
