A rather pale woman wanders the streets of Sinfar, though unlike most of that appearance, she isnt a vampire.  Amelia has spent most of her life out of the sun, abducted by drow when she was just a baby, she was raised as a slave in the Underdark.  She was subjected to typical torture one would expect, and as a sick joke, she was put onto a mining crew when she was just a child, though given no tools.  Her knuckles are scarred and calloused from her time being forced to mine with her bare fists, no longer able to feel anything other than her fingertips in her hands, she eventually became somewhat skilled at her job.  This eventually led to her freedom, as she was "digging" a tunnel one day and broke through a wall.  Sunlight poured in, temporarily blinding both her, and her captor behind her.  She acted quickly, knowing this was her one chance of freedom, turning and throwing a rock-breaking punch right into her captor before running into the blinding light, to her freedom.

Amelia ran and ran until her lungs ached and her legs felt like rubber, then she ran some more, putting as much distance between herself and those caves as she could until she collapsed of exhaustion.  Once she came to, she found herself not far from a city, the city of Sin.
