Typically the mother of a cambion does not survive childbirth, leaving the babe to fend for itself. However by some miracle the woman who gave birth to Iwasaki clung to life. Unfortunately her sanity died in her place, or perhaps it had already been shattered by the events of her conception. Iwasaki never knew and her mother was incapable of telling her.
Growing up in the the slums of Sinifer, Iwasaki grew to the typical mindset of a cambion despite the presence of her parent. Her mothers temperament was ever changing, one day she'd be gentle and loving the next cold and spiteful. Her mother taught her many skills, though never explained how she knew them. Iwasaki learnt how to handle a sword as well as a bit of magic and sometimes she self taught darker, fiendish arts from the maddened scrawlings her mother would cover the walls with in fits of insanity. Most of all however she learnt to do what she was told as her mother reacted poorly to disobedience.
Once she came of age however, Iwasakis mother made note of how similar to her father she was becoming and how important it would be for her to know how to "properly" serve him. Her lessons took a more carnal direction, either by selling her on the streets or forcing herself on her.

Now, Iwasaki has grown into an attractive, if introverted woman. Her body small and slender, yet reasonably voluptuous where it counted. Her clothes were loose and flowing, keeping much of her body hidden from the casual viewer and her weapon always stayed close at hand on her back.
She is seperated from her mother, likely for the first time, and now wanders the streets of Sinifer searching for her father.
