Broad shouldered, tall and sun-kissed. Ardwin's body indicates someone accustomed to long hours of intensive, heavy labor. Shoulder length, wavy ashen-brown hair frames a face crafted from angular features. A thick layer of unshaven stubble and scruff covers his jaw. Conventionally handsome at one point perhaps, a number of small scars mar his visage now. Rich, amber red eyes conceal an intelligent, keen gleam within them.

Ardwin's choice of attire tends towards things both comfortable and practical. At times even utilitarian. Simple, loose fitting trousers and boots tend to be common. A variety of small pieces of jewelry adorn his person. Several golden rings pierce his ears, along with a stud through his left nostril. He bears strange inking along the tops of his hands. Card suits, dice, and various symbols attributed to luck, fortune and freedom. A single piece of decoration remains the same across all of his days, and outfits. Attached to a thin, silver chain worn around his neck is a curiously engraved pendant. The surface of the metal seems worn, weathered and old.

He carries himself with a certain degree of confidence, or arrogance depending on how one looks at it. His manner of speech seems to indicate an informal education of some description. Despite this, his voice carries a pleasing baritone quality to it, deep and rich in tone. The scent of salt water and sea breeze lingers on his clothing and person, along with a hint of spiced alcohol. Beneath all of that, an undertone of tobacco smoke may be detected.
